WHITE OUT in mountaineering describes a condition of poor visibility due to a heavy snow blizzard or fog. It is a natural phenomenon that occurs when heavy clouds meet the snowy ground, which reflects all the lights it gets, thus making impossible any move back or forward. WHITE OUT is a soft frontier between life and death, a show where circus, dance and alpinism meet to tell the desperate hike of three alpinists to the top. Through irony and drama it explores the boundaries between life and death, risk and trust, human and nature WHITE OUT is a tributeto all the climbers who have disappeared completely in the whiteness of the mountains: the conquerors of the useless.
