Alessandra Canini
Aerial teacher
After years of swimming practice, at 15 Alessandra starts to take ballet and jazz dance classes and gets into the world of musical. She started studying at Art School in Brescia and she joins “MTS – Musical! The School” Academy in Milan.
She is passionate about the circus world and in 2012 she approaches the study of aerial silks at Danzarte (Brescia). Since then she has kept developing the aerial practice on her own through workshops with Caterina Fort and Stefano Franzini. In 2015 she meets Sofia Venanzetti, who initiates her to the world of contortionism.
In 2017 she starts teaching aerials and flexibility at Stria Aerial Lab. Through the years she attends floorwork and vertical dance classes with Tom Weksler, Wanda Moretti, Alberta Palmisano, Giulia Murgianu and others. Since 2018 she has been teaching aerials at Quattrox4, where she also masters a cycle of flexibility workshops.
